La diversit\u00e9 ne se limite pas aux ressources humaines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is more to diversity than an HR department hiring various people. Diversity should be present throughout your organization\u2019s overall strategy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Sandeep Tatla, chief equity, diversity, and inclusion officer at Fasken, describes, \u201cThere\u2019s a misnomer that diversity is just something that HR or the people functions need to worry about. Where it actually belongs is that it should be part of that organizational strategy. It should be an enabler of all the goals you have set out for your organization. You should be thinking about how diversity can help you achieve those goals.\u201d The inclusion of a variety of perspectives and voices can influence and strengthen your organization\u2019s decision-making in many aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commercialisation, \u00e9laboration de produits, prospection, r\u00e9ussite client \u2013 autant de services qui peuvent profiter d\u2019une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de la diversit\u00e9. Cette approche peut vous aider \u00e0 recueillir des informations plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur la fa\u00e7on dont votre client\u00e8le per\u00e7oit et utilise vos produits. La diversit\u00e9 n\u2019est pas \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 la justice sociale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si de nombreuses entreprises cherchent \u00e0 embaucher des effectifs divers, encore faut-il le faire de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie. En embauchant des femmes ou des personnes de diff\u00e9rents groupes ethniques dans le but seul d\u2019atteindre des indicateurs cl\u00e9s de rendement ou des objectifs de diversit\u00e9, on passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la v\u00e9ritable intention de ces mesures. L\u2019une des principales raisons d\u2019embaucher des personnes provenant de divers horizons est la possibilit\u00e9 de profiter de nouveaux points de vue qui viennent s\u2019ajouter \u00e0 ceux des autres membres et les compl\u00e9ter, apportant ainsi une valeur unique.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diversity can also positively impact a business\u2019s success through the combination of various perspectives. Caroline Codsi perfectly summarizes this, \u201cMore diversity equals better employee engagement, equals more innovation, equals more different perspectives, more ideas that come to the table, more robust decision-making, and at the end of the day, that\u2019s going to impact the bottom line.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By engaging with people\u2019s lived experiences, you learn more about who they are and their motivations for why they do or say the things they do. En faisant de la diversit\u00e9 une priorit\u00e9 organisationnelle, on appuie non seulement l\u2019aptitude intellectuelle des \u00e9quipes, mais aussi la r\u00e9ussite de l\u2019organisation dans son ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mise en place d\u2019un milieu de travail ax\u00e9 sur la diversit\u00e9 sert \u00e0 dissiper les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s inh\u00e9rents des membres de l\u2019effectif en les invitant \u00e0 poser un regard critique sur leurs partis pris. Ceci entra\u00eene l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la productivit\u00e9 et du rendement financier de l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-changing-the-workplace-culture\"><strong>4. Il faut transformer la culture organisationnelle<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019un des objectifs des principes ESG est la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un milieu de travail durable visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer et \u00e0 optimiser les conditions de travail. En offrant des chances \u00e9quitables et en cultivant un environnement de travail ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019inclusion, on peut accro\u00eetre le degr\u00e9 de mobilisation du personnel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In their discussion, our panel agreed that with the right environment, team members can feel more empowered to deliver more on projects. \u201cEmployees and teams that feel included, they deliver more and it\u2019s as selfish and as simple as that,\u201d said Bindu Cudjoe, chief inclusion and equity officer for Laurention Bank, \u201cWe spend most of our day working with our colleagues and if you actually have an environment where you feel you can contribute and you feel valued, you\u2019ll always put a lot of passion into that. I think that drives business success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diversit\u00e9 doit absolument faire partie inh\u00e9rente de la culture de travail. Il est important d\u2019avoir le courage d\u2019organiser des dialogues ouverts et constructifs portant sur ces sujets pour favoriser la mise en application des principes ESG \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de l\u2019entreprise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le respect et la valorisation de toutes les personnes faisant partie de l\u2019effectif sont des aspects inh\u00e9rents de l\u2019inclusion. Pour mettre en \u0153uvre des mesures constructives visant \u00e0 aider les membres du personnel, vous devez porter attention \u00e0 leur r\u00e9troaction. Les sondages aupr\u00e8s du personnel et les formulaires de d\u00e9claration repr\u00e9sentent des moyens efficaces de recueillir les commentaires et d\u2019\u00e9valuer les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019am\u00e9lioration \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur le plan organisationnel, le maintien d\u2019une bonne communication permet aux membres du personnel de se sentir inclus dans le processus d\u00e9cisionnel.
